Desa Cantik Coaching 2026: Boosting Statistical Literacy in Three Villages

BPS-Statistics of Sigi Regency successfully organized the 2026 Desa Cantik (Love Statistics Village) Coaching activity on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Taking place at the Sigi Kota Subdistrict Office, this coaching program specifically focused on mentoring the three selected villages for this year: Sidera, Jono Oge, and Lolu. This strategic activity aims to improve the competence and literacy of village apparatuses in managing statistical data, enabling each village to produce and utilize accurate data to support more targeted development planning.

The event was attended by representatives from BPS-Statistics of Sigi Regency, subdistrict government officials, and apparatuses from the three targeted villages. The participants' enthusiasm was evident during the material presentation and interactive discussion sessions in the meeting room. The synergy established during this coaching activity is expected to be a concrete step and a strong commitment between BPS and the local government to continue collaborating in creating resilient, independent, and statistically literate villages.
